I first discovered yoga at the Jivamukti Yoga studio in New York, living there in the 90’s. Returning to England, for the last 20 years I have been practicing classes in a combination of Hatha, Jivamukti, Sivananda and Iyengar yoga.

I decided to pursue the dream of teaching after fully recovering from a serious illness, vowing to not only be in the best possible health myself but also actively helping others to improve their health and well-being doing something I love and am passionate about. 

By embracing different yoga traditions, theory, and philosophy, has enabled me to become rounded as a teacher and I enjoy incorporating these elements into a typical class. 

My love of yoga is not only the energy, strength and flexibility that it gives me but also the desire to keep learning more about the practice and its philosophy as well as the connection yoga gives me to a community of supportive and encouraging people.
